Michael Vinegar – Executive Chef

Chef Mike began his journey in food at the ripe bold age of 6 years old.  He picked up his love for food watching his mother and father in the kitchen, and honed his skills at Midwest Culinary Institute under Master Chef John Kinsella and Alan Neace.  Chef Mike has been at Gabriel’s Place for 2 years.  Chef Mike is a firm believer that principles and values are the keys to a great chef and just as in life, if one masters the principles and values of food there is no limit to what can be achieved.  By the way, Chef Mike was born and raised in Avondale and proudly represents the neighborhood, truly embodying the statement: “A-1 since Day-1”!
